Paul F. Tompkins is hilarious. Star Wars is awesome. Google Voice is screwy.

Add the three together and you get this. Comedian-extraordinaire Tompkins ran the Mos Eisley cantina sequence through Google Voice, which can transcribe whatever audio conversations you give it.

The Google service is pretty broken, though. Maybe even … humorously broken. So, you get transcriptions that are almost entirely nonsensical.

Tompkins took that transcript and had it performed at his monthly live show. And now a fan has set that performance to the actual scene. Awesome.
