Directed by Bruce McDonald and starring Molly Parker and the late Tracy Wright, Trigger is set in Toronto and sees two former riot grrrl bandmates reunite in middle age and deal with past baggage and present problems related to their nihilistic lifestyle.

In the area of live music, there’ a special fundraising concert tonight by the University of Regina Choir. It’s called WordPlay, and proceeds will go to literacy programs at Open Door Society.
