In March I reviewed another play by Michael Frayn (pictured) called Copenhagen that was being presented by the Globe Theatre. Concerning as it did a historic meeting in 1941 between physicists Neils Bohr and Werner Heisenberg that helped usher in the atomic era, Copenhagen was Drama with a capital D.
Noises Off was also penned by Frayn, and it’s pretty much the polar opposite ie. it’s a comedy about a company of bungling actors who struggle to produce a farce.
Noises Off is being presented by Regina Little Theatre. It runs at the Performing Arts Centre April 13-14 at 7:30 p.m., and April 15-16 at 8 p.m. For tickets call 779-2277.
Also on tomorrow night, Yukon Blonde are playing a show at the Exchange. They’re being backed up by the Kissick Family Band. To close, here’s the video for Yukon Blonde’s “Wind Blows”.
