Veteran west coast Canadian punk band Dayglo Abortions are at the Gaslight Saloon tonight. Since they burst on the scene in the late ’70s they’ve proven to be shit-disturbers par excellence, weathering an obscenity charge or three and showing general disdain for all the puritanical values in our society.

While the hard-rocking trio (drummer Jesus Bonehead, guitarist and vocalist The Cretin and bassist Willy Jak) haven’t released an album since 2004’s Holy Shiite, they were the subject of a biography by Chris Walters in 2010 called Argh Fuck Kill: The Story of the Dayglo Abortions.

Tickets for the Gaslight gig are $20 advance. To close, here’s a link to some concert footage from Victoria in 2009.
