We usually listen to Internet radio here. Can’t listen to CBC because chatter is too distracting and CJTR isn’t always suitable (which is a positive reflection on its diverse programming). Anyway, just heard this Vampire Weekend song and I remembered it had a fun video, so voila! I share.
The song is “Giving Up The Gun” from Vampire Weekend’s 2010 album Contra. Vampire Weekend is a New York band that could snarkily be called a Paul Simon tribute act. But on the plus side, the group sounds like a Paul Simon tribute act. If you like Graceland, you’ll probably like Vampire Weekend.
