CITY COUNCIL (5:30 pm): Considering a recommendation to rezone and authorize for sale a municipal buffer strip near 2402 – 9th Ave N so that nearby businesses can turn that grassy knoll into parking. Also considering the house that wants to become a daycare at 4401 Dewdney Ave, and the IT server room in City Hall that wants to move from the second floor to the basement at a cost of $645,000. Wow. After the not-racist barn-burner of two weeks ago, this council meeting looks like it’s going to be a total snoozefest.
