Born on the Isle of Man, Manx grew up in Canada and currently lives on Saltspring Island in B.C. As an adult, he’s travelled extensively in Europe, India and Japan.

He first made his mark in music as a lapslide guitarist. Mixing folk, blues and Hindustani influences, Manx is now a multi-instrumentalist with eight albums to his credit.

Tomorrow night at 8 p.m. he’s appearing at the Regina Performing Arts Centre at 8 p.m. Tickets are $30 and can be obtained by calling 779-2277. To close, here’s video of Manx performing a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “I’m On Fire“.
