Several musical options tonight. At O’Hanlon’s Pub, local instrumental trio The Lazy MKs are playing. “Cinematic rural post rock” is one tag that’s been attached to them. In 2010 the band released its debut EP A Field Guide To. Backing them up will be Cam Wensel. Here’s a link to a trailer for a short film called Til the End of the Day that features music by the MKs.

At the Exchange, local guitar whiz Bob Evans (pictured) is playing with Brandy Moore backing him up. Tickets are $15 adv., $20 door. Next door at the Club it’s Invasion, Labrat and Contaminate.

Finally, at First Nations University of Canada Gallery there’s a performance  by Terrance Houle related to his exhibition Iniiwahkiimah. Both the title of the show, and the performance, which starts at 7 p.m., are apparently derrived from Houle’s Blackfoot name which means “buffalo herder.”
