The Centre For Inquiry Regina is hosting an informal discussion tonight at the Unitarian Centre (at College and Angus St). The subject they’ll be tackling is the same as the header for this post: Why don’t you believe in God? It’s a chance for non-believers to sit around and chat about their non-belief. Personally, I think something like this should be held in a bar. I guess maybe this new generation of infidel denies the existence of spirits as well.
Things get started at a very sober 7 pm.
You didn’t ask but my favourite quip on the subject comes from A Whitney Brown (who deserved a much longer tenure on SNL): “How can I not believe in something that doesn’t exist?”
