With the different designations that the Regina Symphony Orchestra has for its various concerts, this is classed as a Special Concert. Under guest conductor Charles Cozens the RSO is performing with the famed Canadian a cappella group The Nylons (pictured).

Also on tonight, the Regina Musical Club is presenting Martha Guth (soprano) and Tyler Duncan (baritone) with Erika Switzer (piano). The concert is at Riddell Centre, University of Regina and begins at 7:30 p.m. Adult tickets are $20, while for Seniors/Students they’re $15.

If your taste runs more to rock ‘n’ roll, there’s a great triple bill of local talent tonight at the Distrikt featuring Bright Black, Hot Blood Bombers and Molten Lava. Tix are $7 adv., $10 door.

Finally, tonight at Neutral Ground (1822 Scarth) there’s an opening reception for LoopLoop — an experimental video by Montreal artist Patrick Bergeron that  was inspired by a trip he took to south-east Asia. The reception starts at 8 p.m., and the show runs until Feb. 26.
