So it turns out that when the moon is being eclipsed, you can’t see it, even if it’s DIRECTLY ABOVE YOU THE WHOLE TIME. Not being able to actually see anything, in my endlessly humble opinion, DEFEATS THE WHOLE FREAKING POINT OF GETTING UP WAY EARLY FOR A LUNAR ECLIPSE.
