Yeah, the Rider game is on today. But the Green & White are in such disarray at present that I can’t bring myself to blog on their game against the Edmonton Eskimos. Next week, though, I’ll have an extensive preview of the West semi-final which, depending on how things break down this weekend, might well be a rematch between the Riders and Eskimos.
Instead, I’ll go with Regina’s other team — as the Regina Symphony Orchestra once billed itself. Tonight, as part of the Shumiatcher Pops Series the RSO is presenting Heroes & Villians at Conexus Arts Centre at 8 p.m. (for ticket info call 586-9555).
Plans, at present, call for Laura Chalk to review this concert on the blog so I won’t delve too deeply into the program other than to note that it features music from a variety of action adventure and horror movies/musicals.
One flick mentioned in the publicity is Bride of Frankenstein. Here’s the trailer for that classic 1935 film.
