Jumping the gun a day on this as blues legend B.B. King (pictured) actually plays at Conexus Arts Centre tomorrow night at 8 p.m. (Tix are $69.50-$89.50).

Sept. 16, King turned 85. After an early stint as a tractor driver and a disc jockey, he established himself as a professional musician and has been recording and performing concerts for over 60 years.

Ranked third by Rolling Stone on the list of 100 greatest guitarists of all time behind Chad Kroeger (Nickelback) and Jay Jay French (Twisted Sister) — okay, kidding. King was actually ranked third behind Jimi Hendrix and Duane Allman– King is a true marvel in a business where people typically burn bright and then flame out.

To get the juices flowing for tomorrow’s show, here’s video of King performing “How Blue Can You Get”.
