MSNBC has announced it will reinstate Countdown host Keith Olbermann this week. In a bullshit move, the host was suspended on Friday for donating a piddly $7,200 to Democratic candidates in the recent election campaign — the same election where brain-damaged Americans handed control of Congress to the U.S. business lobby’s preferred political party, which consistently runs up massive deficits every time it gets power.
The Republicans, who received favourable news coverage as well as massive fund-raising support and direct donations from more than two dozen Fox News personalities as well as from the network’s parent company, have announced they will fight to repeal the Democrats’ health care reform, by the way. Well done, Republican voters, you stupid jerks. Well done.
