David Hasselhoff’s appearance at Casino Regina Show Lounge has been cancelled, I know. But the blurb I had to scrub for the 14 Days Top Six of our Oct. 21 issue is too good to waste so I’m sticking with this as my p-o-t-d.

In it I wrote that I’d considered joking about the “Hoffmeister” being in the house at Casino Regina, but then realized readers might mistakenly think I was referring to prairie dog photographer Darrol Hofmeister.

Gigs that haven’t been cancelled tonight include a Hallowe’en cabaret at Artesian on 13th featuring the Lazy MKs and the Lonesome Weekends. Doors are at 8 p.m. and tix are $25. At Mercury Cafe, they’re hosting Devil’s Night with the bands Invasion, Black Thunder and Salata Har. Tix are $7. As well, courtesy of the  Fransaskois Performing Arts network, Damien Robitaille is at Le Bistro (3850 Hillsdale St.) at 8 p.m. For ticket info call 565-8916

Finally, the Rocky Horror Show is kicking off a two-night run at the Royal Sask Museum. Doors open at 8:30 p.m., with the show itself starting at 9 p.m. It’s the full-length stage musical with a live band. Tix are $20. To get you in the right frame of mind, here’s “Time Warp” from The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
