“I am John Blackstar.”
Blackstar ran from 1981-1982. It was made by Filmation and it more than borrowed elements from Thundarr the Barbarian. The show starred astronaut John Blackstar from a future Earth. He gets swept through a black hole and stranded on the planet Sagar. It’s one of those sword and sorcery planets and Blackstar ends up with half a magic sword. The other half belongs to the extremely evil Overlord. Overlord wants to both halves so he can make one bad ass sword called Powerstar. Fortunately for Blackstar his allies are a bunch of hobbits that are pretending to be Snow White’s dwarfs. They called themselves Trobbits to avoid copyright violations.
