Today we have a double shot of ’80s cartoons.

First up is The Karate Kid. Based on the popular Karate Kid movies, it aired in 1989. It only lasted 13 episodes. The plot involved a quest to retrieve a stolen magical artifact. Sony was hoping to build upon the franchise’s popularity – it failed.

Next, because The A-Team is in theatres right now, is Mister T. It was a cartoon made by Ruby Spears and actually starred Mr. T himself. He was a coach of a gymnastics team that traveled around in a van solving mysteries and learning important life lessons like pitying the fool.
