I wandered past the Plains on the way home from the Farmers’ Market today and found that the Capital Pointe condo pre-sale office is now open for business. Today was the grand opening, in fact.
I went in and the agents were kind enough to allow me to take some pics of the scale model of the project.
I’m a TOTAL sucker for scale models of buildings so I was pretty happy.
I took an info pack home and it seems they’re sticking with the capitals theme for the condo tower as the suite styles are all named after Canadian capital cities — St John’s, Halifax, Victoria, Winnipeg, Regina and Ottawa, to be precise.
Prices range from $229,000 to $634,900. And based on the model and artist drawings, the rooftop gardens and the hotel lobby look particularly spiffy.
You can’t tell from these pics but the office was very busy while we were there. And I spoke to one of the agents who intimated that there’s been a lot of interest in the condos and a significant number of suites have already been pre-sold.
