Iron Man 2 is opening this weekend and it’s going to take in a ton of money (it already has internationally).
Marvel first dragged Iron Man off the comic book page back in 1966. The show was part of The Marvel Superheroes show and was voiced by John Vernon (the mayor from Dirty Harry).
The next time Iron Man had his own show was in 1994 and was voiced by Robert Hays of Airplane! fame. He didn’t get another show until the success of the Robert Downey Jr. movie.
