First off, starting April 25 the transfer hub that is currently located between Lorne and Scarth Streets on 12th Ave. will shift two blocks west and will be located between McIntyre and Lorne Streets next to the City Hall parkade and the Central Library. From there, the buses will proceed east on 12th Ave past Victoria Park with the next stop being located between Hamilton and Rose Streets. The shift is being made to accommodate work that’s to begin shortly on transforming Victoria Park into City Square as part of the Downtown Neighbourhood Plan. For more info call 777-7433.
Regina Transit is also holding two public information sessions to discuss the future vision for transit in the city.
